Meet Addie, the Founder of June Pottery. Throughout her life, Addie has turned to art as a means to release, to relate, and to indulge. Ultimately, clay has connected with her in a way that no other medium has before. She most enjoys textures, simple contrasts, and distinct lines in her work. Addie focuses on functional pieces, that are designed to bring warmth and simplicity into your home.
Addie grew up playing on mountains and splashing around in Lake Tahoe, California. Before starting June Pottery, Addie spent most of her career training guide dogs and guide dog handlers. She considers herself fortunate to have found more than one career passion in life and continues to dedicate a portion of her time working as a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor.
Now residing in Bellingham, Washington, she most enjoys adventuring and having a laugh with family and friends. She shares her happy place with her perfect cat “Blarnes,” her imperfect dog “June,” and her most special person (and husband), David.
